FRANKFURT, June 6, 2005: Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP announced today that Dr. Jörg Siegels has joined Morgan Lewis as a partner, establishing a global tax presence for the firm in Frankfurt. The firm also has European tax professionals in its London and Paris offices.

Jörg provides tax and corporate advice on merger and acquisition transactions and capital markets matters. He also provides tax advice in connection with group reorganizations, outsourcing, financial arrangements and German inbound and outbound matters. He was formerly a partner in Lovells’ Frankfurt office.

Jörg studied law at the University of Cologne, graduating in 1987. He continued his education, obtaining a degree in business administration and economics in 1989, and ultimately getting a doctorate in law in 1995, all at the University of Cologne. During this time, he was also a legal trainee at the regional court in Cologne for two years, and was admitted to the German bar in February 1993. He was admitted as a certified tax advisor (Steuerberater) in 1998.
