Morgan Lewis Partner to Testify Before House Regarding OSHA Legislation

WASHINGTON, D.C., March 15, 2010: Jonathan Snare, a partner in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice and former acting assistant secretary of labor for the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), will testify tomorrow before the House Subcommittee on Workforce Protections. He will provide testimony on proposed legislation called the "Protecting America's Workers Act" on behalf of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. His testimony will also include comments about possible revisions to the legislation.

If adopted, the Act would significantly restructure the OSHA civil and criminal penalty regime, as well as make other significant changes to how OSHA conducts its enforcement functions.
