- Represented a major pharmaceutical company in the leasing of 670,000 square feet of space for a new world headquarters in New Jersey and the acquisition of an option to lease a to-be-constructed building consisting of 200,000 square feet at the same site. This lease was considered to be the largest lease transaction in New Jersey that calendar year.
- Represented a major financial institution in a high-profile sale/leaseback transaction of a premier office building in downtown San Francisco. Our client elected to take advantage of a strong commercial real estate market and monetize one of its real estate assets. The deal closed with a major institutional real estate investor acquiring the property for a purchase price in excess of $330 million. Our client will then lease the building back for 20 years with a complex set of rights intended to allow it to adapt its use of the building to the needs of its business.
