The Paris office is one of four in Europe, including offices in London, Frankfurt, and Brussels. With top-tier clients and broad experience across industries, Morgan Lewis's Paris office dramatically strengthens the firm's European and international services, particularly in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, tax, corporate governance, labor and employment, litigation, public and environmental law, and antitrust.

A majority of the lawyers in the Paris office are members of Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. The lawyers in this practice focus on mergers and acquisitions, finance, private equity, privatizations, PPP/PFI, tax, and securities law. The Paris lawyers are integral members of the firm's nearly 300-strong corporate practice.

The Paris office has a strong European Labor and Employment Practice. Our lawyers help clients negotiate the ever-changing landscape of laws that govern the workplace. Lawyers in the Paris office have decades of experience in French, European Union, and international labor laws, and have represented clients before courts and administrative bodies in a variety of business and employment matters.

The Paris office is also home to lawyers who focus on antitrust and competition issues. Attorneys in Morgan Lewis's Antitrust Practice provide a full range of services, from preventive counseling to defense of "bet the company" litigation. Antitrust lawyers in Paris file with and obtain clearance from the European Commission and national competition authorities, defend clients accused of antitrust violations, prosecute complaints against represented/third parties in merger proceedings, and ensure that clients' business operations comply with competition law.

More than 400 litigators throughout the firm combine the highest levels of substantive knowledge, industry experience, and courtroom savvy to help meet the litigation needs of global businesses, and our Paris office is no exception. With an emphasis on commercial and white collar crime litigation, the team represents both French and foreign clients in litigation matters.

The commercial litigation team in our Paris office focuses on financial and banking litigation, company litigation, bankruptcy proceedings, international arbitration, enforcement of French and foreign judgments, and intellectual property litigation. The Paris office's white collar crime litigation team represents and advises companies and individuals on matters such as stock exchange regulation, liability of statutory auditors, corporate investigations, industrial liability and environment law, public/private contract law, trade agreements, press rectification, employment litigation, new technology, and urban planning and development.

The public and environmental law team advises on all aspects of public law, including regulatory as well as environmental law, on both advisory and litigation matters. In particular, this team focuses on PPP/PFI, concessions, and all administrative contracts.
