  • Our Electrical Energy Practice advises clients on the economic aspects of energy regulation, including investigations, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, restructuring of generation and transmission assets, ratemaking, formation and regulation of transmission organizations, energy trading and marketing, and compliance with default service requirements.
     
  • Our Nuclear Energy Practice is an industry leader in advising on critical issues for both current and future plants. We combine expertise in both the regulatory and financial aspects of the nuclear industry and advise clients on a daily basis in licensing, environmental, investigatory, and adjudicatory matters associated with current and future plant operation.
     
  • Our Oil and Natural Gas Practice clients include independent producers, refiners and retailers, marketers and LNG importers, pipeline companies, and distribution companies. Our work includes representation in all aspects of FERC regulation and compliance and state regulatory issues, as well as assisting clients in a large number of acquisitions and dispositions of natural gas and oil pipeline assets.
     
  • Our Renewable Energy Practice is a cross-disciplinary team of lawyers working with utilities, project developers, investors and entrepreneurs on renewable energy issues across the country, advising on renewable energy development and procurement, project finance, tax strategies, intellectual property protection, and environmental issues, including climate change.
