Morgan Lewis was founded in 1873, and has more than 1,300 lawyers in 22 offices.

Our Tokyo office was established in 1988, although Morgan Lewis lawyers have represented Japanese interests in the United States and elsewhere around the globe for more than 50 years.

In 2005, Morgan Lewis and TMI Associates, currently the fifth largest Japanese law firm, launched Morgan Lewis-TMI, a unique joint venture that created the only platform offering clients access to the resources of both one of largest and most respected U.S. law firms and one of the largest and most respected Japanese firms.

We pride ourselves on our close, long-term client relationships - more than 2,000 clients have been with the firm for more than five years, and a few have been clients for more than 100 years!

Morgan Lewis represents more than half of the Fortune 100 companies, including 9 of the top 10 companies.

Morgan Lewis was named as the top law firm in Corporate Counsel magazine’s 2006 survey, “Who Represents America’s Biggest Companies?"
