Terry D. Johnson is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Johnson has successfully defended against a variety of single and multi-plaintiff employment law claims, including those alleging discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful discharge, violations of public policy, and violations of whistleblower rights within state, federal, and appellate courts and with federal and state administrative agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New Jersey Division on Civil Rights, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Commission, and the New York State Division of Human Rights.

In addition to litigation work, Mr. Johnson provides counsel to clients on a variety of personnel and employment law matters, works with clients to develop and implement effective workplace policies, and conducts independent investigations into alleged violations of law.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Johnson was an associate at law firms in Princeton and Philadelphia, where he focused his practice on labor and employment issues. He also served as a law clerk to Justice James R. Zazzali of the New Jersey Supreme Court.

Mr. Johnson earned his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law, Newark in 2004, where he was the articles editor for the Rutgers Law Review and named to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he served as a judicial intern to Judge Michael Chertoff of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. Mr. Johnson earned his B.S. in administration of justice from Rutgers University in 2001.

Mr. Johnson is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
