Amir J. Vonsover is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Attorneys in this practice regularly advise clients on virtually every type of labor and employment issue, from international counseling to management relations and labor disputes. Attorneys include the former chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association and fellows in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Vonsover was an Assistant District Attorney at the Manhattan District Attorney's Office as a member of both the Rackets Bureau and the Trial Division. He directed the investigation and prosecution of complex financial crimes and tried more than 15 cases involving a wide range of crimes, including attempted murder, narcotics trafficking, and identity theft.

Mr. Vonsover earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 2005, where he served as a comment editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law. His article, "No Reason For Exemption: Singleton v. Norris and Involuntary Medication of Mentally Ill Capital Murderers for the Purpose of Execution," was published in the JCL in 2004. He earned his B.A. in American government from Wesleyan University in 2002.

Mr. Vonsover is admitted to practice in New York and Pennsylvania and before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
