Iain Wright is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. Iain specialises in advising on a wide range of corporate finance issues, with a focus on M&A and equity capital markets. In the field of M&A, he has extensive experience of both public and private M&A, both in the United Kingdom and internationally, and has advised on transactions ranging in size from a few million pounds to tens of billions of pounds, including some of the largest transactions ever effected in the UK market. In the field of equity capital markets, he has advised on both IPOs and secondary fundraisings, as well as providing regular advice to clients on securities laws and governance issues more generally, with particular expertise on the London Stock Exchange's AIM market.

Iain is recommended by PLC Which Lawyer? Yearbook in the field of Mergers and Acquisitions in England. He also featured in the inaugural Lawyer Hot 100 as one of the top 100 stars in the legal profession. Iain is a member of the Company Law Sub-committee of the Law Society of England and Wales.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Iain was a corporate finance partner at a large international law firm.

Iain received his Diploma in Legal Practice, with distinction, from the College of Law of England and Wales, York in 1991 and his BA (law), with first class honours, from Cambridge University in 1990.

Iain is admitted to practice in England and Wales as a Solicitor.
