Natalie S. Tynan is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Tynan counsels clients on all aspects of immigration law and benefits, including preparing employment-based immigrant and nonimmigrant visa petitions. Ms. Tynan focuses her practice on obtaining temporary employment authorization and U.S. permanent residency for foreign nationals. She also advises clients on immigrant and nonimmigrant matters related to intracompany transferees, professionals, and individuals of extraordinary ability.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Tynan served in the Office of Chief Counsel of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, Department of Homeland Security. She served as special assistant to the chief of the Adjudications Law Division from December 2006 through August 2007 and as associate counsel from November 2005 through November 2006.  From November 1999 to November 2005, Ms. Tynan was an associate at another major international law firm in Washington, D.C., where she practiced immigration law.

Ms. Tynan earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in 1999, where she served as a note and comment editor for the Catholic University Law Review. Ms. Tynan earned her B.A., cum laude and with honors, from Lafayette College in 1995, where she received the Minerva and Emil V. Novack Prize in Government and Law and was a member of Phi Sigma Alpha, the national political honors society.

Ms. Tynan is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania.
