Trina C. Winkelmann is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Investment Management and Securities Industry Practice. Ms. Winkelmann focuses her practice on investment companies and investment advisers.

Ms. Winkelmann advises clients on various regulatory matters, including the formation and ongoing regulation of investment companies and investment advisers. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Winkelmann was an associate at a Minneapolis law firm where she advised registered investment companies, unregistered investment vehicles and investment advisers on federal and state securities laws and self-regulatory organization rules.  Before that, she was an associate at a New York law firm where she also advised registered investment companies and investment advisers on federal and state securities laws issues.

Ms. Winkelmann received her J.D. from The University of Michigan Law School in 2001 and her B.A. from Michigan State University in 1997.

Ms. Winkelmann is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and New York.
