Joseph B.G. Fay is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Fay has experience with a wide range of antitrust issues, particularly in the context of providing antitrust counseling and representing defendants in antitrust litigation.

Mr. Fay defended United States Gypsum Company in nationwide class actions involving asbestos-containing building materials, and was counsel for Pan Am in the domestic air transportation antitrust litigation.  Working closely with attorneys in the Litigation Practice, the Antitrust Practice and the Labor and Employment Practice, Mr. Fay has also participated in the defense of several other actions in which the recovery sought exceeded $100 million, including antitrust litigation for Exxon, and ERISA litigation for General Electric and Unisys; he has more recently assisted Merck in defeating class certification in employment litigation.  In 25 years of practice he has assisted in the defense of more than 60 class actions, and has spoken at continuing legal education presentations and written on class action issues. 

Since joining the firm in 1980, Mr. Fay has represented clients in a variety of industries, including the oil, insurance, financial markets, railroad, airline and professional sports fields.
