Mark S. Dichter is chair of Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. For more than 35 years, Mr. Dichter has represented and counseled major employers in a full spectrum of employment law issues, including complex employment discrimination class actions, high-profile sexual harassment cases, nationwide wage and hour litigation, ERISA class actions, and whistleblower cases.
Mr. Dichter has represented employers in litigation with the EEOC, the U.S. Department of Labor, and the OFCCP at the national and regional levels. He has also served as counsel for major corporations in numerous industries, law firms, and the State of Oregon in high-profile class actions and other significant employment litigation.
Mr. Dichter has been named by the International Who's Who of Business Lawyers as the leading employment lawyer in the world for the past three years. This year, he was named by Human Resources Executive and LawDragon as one of the 10 most powerful employment attorneys in America. Chambers USA has consistently listed Mr. Dichter in its highest tier stating "peers and clients see him as the go-to lawyer for complex employment litigation."
Mr. Dichter is former chair of the ABA Labor and Employment Law Section and is a founding fellow of the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers, as well as a founding board member of the American Employment Law Council. Mr. Dichter regularly speaks at national and international programs on employment law
