John “Jay” Rosenquest, IV is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Rosenquest focuses his practice on complex business litigation, including large contract and business tort disputes, as well as mass tort and product liability defense.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Rosenquest was an associate at a large law firm based in New Orleans. While in New Orleans, Mr. Rosenquest was actively involved in his firm’s insurance practice and in litigation arising out of Hurricane Katrina, and counseled clients with respect to complex commercial, antitrust, and securities litigation.

Mr. Rosenquest received his J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law in 2005, where he received numerous awards for his scholarship and served on the University of Memphis Law Review and on the school's National Mock Trial team. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Rosenquest taught lower-level mathematics and English as a Second Language in an English/Spanish bilingual classroom at a public secondary school. He received his B.S. in mathematics from Davidson College in 1999.

Mr. Rosenquest is admitted to practice in Florida and Louisiana and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
