James C. Hatchitt

James C. Hatchitt is an associate in Morgan Lewis' Litigation Practice. Mr. Hatchitt represents clients in complex commercial disputes, including toxic tort litigation, insurance coverage, contract and business tort actions, and internal corporate investigations.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Hatchitt served as a law clerk to Judge Ed Kinkeade of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Mr. Hatchitt received his J.D., cum laude, from Baylor University Law School in 2010, where he represented the school at several mock trial tournaments, including the American Association for Justice national finals, Tournament of Champions, and the National Criminal Justice Trial Advocacy tournament. He received his B.B.A. in finance/accounting and mechanical engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in 2006.

Mr. Hatchitt is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
