Joseph M. Hayes is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Personal Law Practice. Our Personal Law Practice serves the legal and financial interests of individuals and family-owned businesses, particularly in traditional estate, investment and tax planning, and the administration of estates and trusts. We also represent individuals and family groups with substantial wealth in planning for the continued control and succession of closely held business enterprises, organizing and managing charitable trusts and foundations, and managing other personal financial interests.
Mr. Hayes is currently seeking his LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law. He earned his J.D., with honors, from Rutgers University School of Law in 2005, where he was a participant in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court; a teaching assistant in the legal writing program; and the executive editor for the Rutgers Journal of Law and Urban Policy. Mr. Hayes earned his B.S., magna cum laude, in business administration from Bryant University in 2001.
Mr. Hayes is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
