Leon A. Yel is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. The lawyers in our Business and Finance Practice focus on mergers and acquisitions (including joint ventures, spin-offs, and strategic alliances), finance and restructuring, securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings), and tax. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to investment banks to emerging market companies.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Yel was vice president and CFO for Capital Hedging at JPMorganChase & Co. He is a certified public accountant in New York State.

Mr. Yel earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 2007, where he was notes and comments editor for the Journal of Law and Policy and a founding board member of the Journal of Corporate, Financial and Commercial Law. He earned his B.S., cum laude, from the City University of New York, Brooklyn College in 1997.

Mr. Yel is admitted to practice in New York.
