Daniel P. Murphy is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Murphy's practice focuses on intellectual property and patent litigation. He represents corporate clients in a broad range of industries, including pharmaceutical, medical, electronic, and consumer products, with a particular emphasis on Hatch-Waxman patent litigation.

Mr. Murphy received his J.D. from St. John's University School of Law in 2000, where he was a University Scholar and a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review. He earned his B.A., with honors, in biology from New York University in 1989.

Mr. Murphy is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey and before the U.S Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
