Daniel Parker Jett is a senior attorney in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Jett has more than 10 years of experience representing the interests of employers and management in employment disputes and litigation in Southern California. He has litigated cases as varied as breach of employment contract and wage claims, to sex and race harassment, whistleblower retaliation and disability discrimination.
Mr. Jett advises his clients on best practices under federal and California law, including the preparation and amendment of employment agreements, policies, and handbooks. He conducts workplace misconduct investigations and advises his clients on appropriate responses to employee misconduct.
Mr. Jett also has experience representing fiduciaries and plan sponsors in litigation over employee benefit plans under ERISA.
Mr. Jett earned his J.D. from California Western School of Law in 1995 and his B.A. in political science from Pepperdine University in 1991.
Mr. Jett is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California, and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
