Michael C. Higgins is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Higgins focuses his practice primarily on general employment litigation, including employment discrimination, harassment and retaliation, ERISA and employee benefits litigation, wage and hour litigation, and traditional labor and employee benefits matters. Mr. Higgins represents employers in single-plaintiff, multiplaintiff, and complex collective and class action litigation before state and federal courts.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Higgins was associated with a prominent international law firm as well as a prominent national law firm, where he represented corporate defendants in a wide variety of litigation including employment, antitrust, securities, and commercial litigation matters.

Mr. Higgins earned his J.D., cum laude, from Temple University, Beasley School of Law in 2003. He earned his B.A. in theatre arts from the College of the Holy Cross in 1996.

Mr. Higgins is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts and before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the First and District of Columbia Circuits, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
