Christopher Paniewski is an associate in the Business and Finance Practice and a member of the Global Outsourcing, Technology, and Commercial Transactions Practice. Mr. Paniewski focuses his practice on outsourcing and information technology transactions, commercial agreements, and other technology-related agreements, including licensing and technology services.
Mr. Paniewski has advised on numerous information technology outsourcing transactions, including a multibillion-dollar network services outsourcing, involving the provision and receipt of services in over 40 countries. He has represented clients in the financial, technology, telecommunications, consumer products, and insurance sectors in numerous types of complex commercial transactions, from both the vendor and customer perspective. In addition to structuring and executing large and complex commercial transactions, Mr. Paniewski has assisted clients in deal implementation and lifecycle management.
Mr. Paniewski has been actively involved in pro bono activities including The List Project to Resettle Iraqi Allies and other immigration-based matters, non-profit entity formation and governance, and commercial transactions and e-commerce matters for pro-bono clients.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Paniewski was an associate in the outsourcing practice of a large, multinational law firm.
Mr. Paniewski received his J.D., cum laude, from the George Washington University Law School in 2007, where he was a member of the Moot Court Board and a co-author of the problem set and judge brief materials for the International Law Moot Court Competition. He received his B.A. cum laude, in political science and philosophy from the University of Miami in 2004.
