Seth Shaifer is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Intellectual Property Practice. Mr. Shaifer's practice focuses on trademark prosecution, enforcement, litigation, and copyright infringement matters. He handles IP transactional and website agreements and counsels clients on IP matters related to M&A transactions, licensing, and media promotions.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Shaifer was an associate at a general practice law firm in Washington D.C., where he managed discovery for complex litigations and counseled clients regarding trademark and copyright matters. While there, he represented buyers in the purchase of a baseball team.

Mr. Shaifer received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Brooklyn Law School in 2006, where he was a member of the Brooklyn Law Review, including one year as production editor. While in law school, Mr. Shaifer was a student prosecutor with the U.S. Attorney's Office, where he represented the United States and prosecuted petty offenders in the Eastern District of New York. Before attending law school, Mr. Shaifer spent 10 years in sports television and radio production, including more than seven years at Madison Square Garden Networks. His responsibilities included production and administration of all of MSG Radio's live sporting events. Mr. Shaifer received his B.B.A. from Emory University, Goizueta School of Business in 1995.

Mr. Shaifer is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, New Jersey, and New York and before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
