Jonathan S. Krause is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Krause’s practice includes the full spectrum of labor employment law matters, such as wage and hour counseling, employment litigation, employee benefits litigation, employment counseling, traditional labor work, and protection of trade secrets and unfair competition.

Mr. Krause has focused his practice on complex litigation, including numerous wage and hour class and/or collective actions in jurisdictions across the country in the healthcare, retail, entertainment, and telecommunications industries. In addition to complex and single-plaintiff litigation, Mr. Krause has represented employers in securing injunctions in response to unlawful mass picketing and violations of trade secret/noncompetition agreements.

In addition to his litigation background, Mr. Krause has advised clients in a broad range of industries with respect to the overtime requirements of the FLSA, state wage payment statutes, commission plans, and other wage and hour requirements. Mr. Krause also routinely counsels employers on all areas of labor employment law, including reductions in force, decisions regarding adverse employment actions, medical leaves and issues surrounding the ADA, and litigation avoidance.

Mr. Krause earned his J.D., cum laude, from Duke University School of Law in 2004. While in law school, he clerked for Judge Debra Freeman, Magistrate Judge of the Southern District of New York. He earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Amherst College in 2001.

Mr. Krause is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
