Zoë Holland is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. She has acted on behalf of European and international clients in a wide range of contentious commercial matters, including breach of contract, professional negligence, contracts of insurance, antitrust/competition, regulatory investigations, and fraud.

Zoë's matters include:

  • Acting for officeholders in the insolvency of a mutual funds group of companies in relation to a circa US$100 million professional negligence claim (involving fraud within the group of companies) against various defendants in the UK and the Caribbean.
  • Acting for a major global airline in relation to an competition/antitrust investigation by various authorities including the European Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice in relation to alleged cartel activities.
  • Acting for a Russian company in relation to a circa US$400 million construction contract ad hoc arbitration claim against a Russian government-controlled entity.
  • Acting for a major global insurance broker in relation to a circa US$235 million professional negligence claim (in contract and tort) brought by a major global oil company involving five insurer co-defendants and a claim over in respect of previous proceedings against a further nine insurers.
  • Acting for high-net-worth individuals in relation to a worldwide freezing order in a US$2 billion fraud/breach of contract claim by a global telecommunications company.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Zoë trained and practiced as a solicitor at a large UK-based international law firm. Zoë received her Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law of England and Wales, London in 2000 and her LLB (Hons) from the University of London, King's College London in 1999.

Zoë is admitted to practice in England and Wales as a Solicitor.
