Laya Rose Kaigh is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Ms. Kaigh focuses her practice on securities-related litigation. She has represented officers, directors, financial institutions, and other business entities in federal and state securities law actions, class actions, multidistrict litigation, shareholder derivative suits, and complex civil and commercial litigation matters.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Kaigh was an associate at two other national law firms. Ms. Kaigh also served as a law clerk to Judge Cathy Seibel of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Ms. Kaigh received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Fordham University School of Law in 2005, where she was named to the Order of the Coif and served as an associate editor of the Fordham Law Review. She received her B.A., with high honors, in English literature from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2001, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Ms. Kaigh is admitted to practice in California and New York and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
