Scott M. Richelson is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Global Outsourcing, Technology, and Commercial Transactions Practice. Mr. Richelson's practice focuses on technology and outsourcing matters. As part of his practice, Mr. Richelson drafts and negotiates domestic and international outsourcing services agreements for a variety of business processes, such as information technology, finance and accounting, human resources, and procurement. He also drafts and negotiates a variety of information technology agreements such as software licensing agreements, subscription agreements, and other technology-related agreements.
Mr. Richelson has assisted in a series of outsourcing and technology transactions for clients in the pharmaceutical, publishing, consulting, energy, financial services, insurance, healthcare, hospitality, jewelry, specialty chemicals and materials, oil and gas, automotive, and consumer products industries. His recent experience includes an information technology (IT) outsourcing for a leading player in the global energy market covering multiple IT functions including data center services, end-user services, network services, and server services; an IT, finance and accounting (F&A) and procurement outsourcing for a leading fuel provider including application development and maintenance, general accounting, co-op accounting, tax accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, and procurement functions; and a F&A outsourcing for an international media company.
Mr. Richelson earned his J.D., cum laude, from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2007. While in law school, he was a member of the Temple Journal of Science, Technology, and Environmental Law. Mr. Richelson earned his B.A. from Emory University in 2001.
Mr. Richelson is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
