Michael McAndrew is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. Mr. McAndrew focuses his practice on meeting the business and legal needs of emerging growth companies in the life sciences and technology sectors throughout their life cycles and of venture capitalists and other investors in emerging growth companies.
Mr. McAndrew has represented emerging growth companies and venture capital investors in a variety of complex transactions, including private offerings of equity and debt securities, acquisitions and dispositions of private companies, and joint ventures and other strategic partnerships. Additionally, he regularly counsels boards of directors and senior management of companies on governance, transactional, and general corporate matters.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. McAndrew was an associate in the corporate practice of a Silicon Valley law firm in its Boston office, where he regularly represented emerging growth companies and prominent venture capital investors.
Mr. McAndrew earned his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2006, where he served as an executive editor for the Boston College International & Comparative Law Review and published an article the review's Winter 2006 volume. Prior to law school, Mr. McAndrew worked in marketing and project management in the digital media industry in New York City. He earned his B.A., cum laude, from Boston College in 1998.
