Susan H. Raimo is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Energy Practice. Ms. Raimo assists with the representation of electric utilities and other clients in the nuclear industry on a variety of regulatory and litigation matters before the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the Department of Labor (DOL), and federal courts. Most recently, she has been actively involved in litigation against the U.S. government related to the Department of Energy's obligations to accept and remove spent nuclear fuel. Ms. Raimo has also performed numerous independent investigations into allegations of discrimination and intentional wrongdoing. She has also been actively involved in the area of whistleblower law, representing clients and their employees in litigation before the DOL and before the NRC during investigations into allegations of intentional wrongdoing.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Raimo served as a law clerk to the administrative judges of the NRC’s Atomic Safety and Licensing Board Panel. While at the NRC, she participated in a variety of licensing proceedings involving independent spent fuel storage installations, materials licenses, reactor license renewals and amendments, and enforcement actions.

Ms. Raimo is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Georgia and before the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
