Anne E. Martinez is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Martinez represents employers in a broad array of labor and employment law matters, including matters before federal and state trial courts and administrative agencies. She has litigated wage and hour class and collective actions, as well as complex and single-plaintiff discrimination and harassment cases (including gender, race, age, and disability discrimination and harassment).

In addition to her litigation background, Ms. Martinez has advised clients in a broad range of industries with respect to compliance with the FLSA's requirements and state law wage and hour and wage payment requirements. She has conducted comprehensive internal wage/hour audits to assist clients in properly classifying employees as exempt or nonexempt. She also routinely counsels employers on all areas of labor employment law, including reductions in force, decisions regarding adverse employment actions, and litigation avoidance.

Ms. Martinez earned both her J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a certificate of study in business and public policy from the Wharton School in 2005. While in law school, she was a recipient of the James Wilson Fellowship in corporate law and was editor-in-chief of the Journal of Labor and Employment Law. She earned her B.S. in industrial and labor relations from Cornell University in 2002.

Ms. Martinez is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
