Mark A. Srere is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Srere's practice concentrates in the criminal area, and he is a member of the Corporate Investigations and White Collar Practice. He provides counseling to corporate clients on compliance issues and internal investigations, as well as providing a full range of services to clients that are targets of criminal prosecution, from grand jury appearances to trials.

Mr. Srere has represented companies and individuals in SEC investigations, environmental investigations, Department of Transportation and NTSB proceedings, and major fraud investigations, including tax fraud. In addition, he has represented numerous companies in investigations conducted by the Inspector Generals' Offices of many government agencies, including the Department of Agriculture, the EPA and the Defense Investigative Service of the Department of Defense. In many of his cases, he has dealt with issues of debarment from government contracting as well as issues related to the national security area, including constitutional law, the Freedom of Information Act, the Privacy Act and security clearances. Additionally, Mr. Srere counsels clients on a variety of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) related issues, including investigations, due diligence, and training.

Mr. Srere teaches "International White Collar Crime" as an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center. He is chairman of the Pro Bono Committee for the Washington, D.C. office. In addition, he serves on the Board of Trustees for the Legal Aid Society and on the Board of Directors of the Washington Lawyers Committee for Civil Rights and Urban Affairs.

Following law school, Mr. Srere clerked for Judge Thomas Gibbs Gee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Mr. Srere received his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law. He received a B.A. in history, Phi Beta Kappa, from Reed College in Portland, Oregon.

Mr. Srere is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Texas.
