Collin W. Park is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Intellectual Property Practice. Mr. Park concentrates his practice on patent and technology issues. Mr. Park has dealt with various phases of patent infringement litigation before U.S. district courts, including discovery, motions, and hearings. He also has counseled and represented clients concerning patent procurement, licensing, and opinions.
Before joining the firm in September 1997, Mr. Park was a primary patent examiner with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Park has an extensive background in semiconductor, liquid crystal display, and computer technologies, as well as other electrical and mechanical arts. As a patent examiner, he specialized in data processing system applications, including microprocessor-based control systems.
Mr. Park is fluent in Korean.
Mr. Park is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Virginia and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
