Jerry R. Selinger is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Selinger focuses his practice on litigation of intellectual property and related matters. He has tried cases in federal and state courts and appeared before various appellate courts and agencies, including the International Trade Commission. Mr. Selinger has handled patent litigation in an extensive range of technical disciplines, including computer science technology, electrical devices, chemical processes and mechanical devices.
Mr. Selinger has been involved in more than 60 patent cases at the trial level, both in Texas and around the country, and served as lead counsel in the majority of these cases. He has first-chaired bench and jury trials in federal district courts and in state courts. He also has an active appellate patent practice before the Federal Circuit. Additionally, Mr. Selinger has authored more than 50 published legal articles, most of which relate to patent litigation.
Mr. Selinger is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. Supreme Court; the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third, Fifth, Eleventh, and Federal Circuits; the U.S. Claims Court; all U.S. District Courts in Texas; and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Mr. Selinger also is board certified in civil appellate law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.
