D'Andra Millsap Shu is a senior attorney in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Ms. Shu focuses her practice primarily on appeals and commercial litigation. She represents clients in Texas and federal district and appellate courts.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Shu was a chambers attorney on the Fourteenth Court of Appeals in Houston, where she drafted over 150 judicial opinions on a wide variety of civil and criminal appeals. Prior to that, Ms. Shu maintained a labor and employment litigation and counseling practice at a large international law firm. From 1996–1997, Ms. Shu served as a law clerk to Judge Carolyn Dineen King on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

Ms. Shu has served as an officer and director on the Houston Law Review Board of Directors since 1996, including serving as chair of the board from 2008–2010. She also taught legal research and writing and disability law courses at the University of Houston Law Center from 1998–2000.

Ms. Shu received her J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Houston Law Center in 1996, where she was valedictorian of her class and served as editor-in-chief of the Houston Law Review. She received her B.S., magna cum laude, in political science from Weber State University in 1993, where she was president of the debate team and a National Debate Tournament participant.

Ms. Shu is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Eastern, Southern, and Western Districts of Texas.
