Timothy D. Katsiff is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Katsiff's practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, with an emphasis on securities and class action litigation. He has represented numerous public companies and their directors and officers in the defense of securities class actions and derivative actions. He also has represented audit and special committees of boards of public companies in internal investigations of financial reporting and related conduct, as well as public companies, broker-dealers, and individuals in SEC and SRO proceedings.

Mr. Katsiff additionally represents clients in other complex litigation matters, including business torts, class action litigation, intellectual property (trade secrets and patents), environmental litigation, insurance coverage, and banking.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Katsiff was a partner at a full-service law firm. Before entering private practice, he served as a law clerk to Senior Judge John P. Fullam of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.

Mr. Katsiff received his J.D. from Cornell Law School in 1994 and his B.A., with special honors, from the University of Chicago in 1991.

Mr. Katsiff is a trustee of the George School, a private boarding and day co-ed high school located in Newtown, Pennsylvania. He is also a trustee of the Mercer Museum and Bucks County Historical Society in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

Mr. Katsiff is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third, Fifth, and Eleventh Circuits and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Middle Districts of Pennsylvania.
