Claude-Étienne Armingaud is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. Mr. Armingaud focuses his practice on intellectual property, information technology, online services, regulatory compliance, and data protection.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Armingaud was an associate at one of the largest French law firms. He focused on all aspects of IP/IT law, with an emphasis on interdisciplinary data privacy, online gambling and marketing, international and national technology agreements, digital signature, dematerialization, cryptography, and IPR portfolio management, as well as banking and regulatory compliance issues (SOX, discovery, etc.). Mr. Armingaud was recruited as part of Étienne Drouard's team.
Mr. Armingaud earned his LL.M. from Cornell University Law School in 2005 and his D.E.S.S. de droit public des nouvelles technologies from the Université de Paris X Nanterre in 2004. He is fluent in French and English.
Mr. Armingaud is admitted to practice in Paris and New York.
