Jocelyn R. Cuttino is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Cuttino represents and counsels employers in a broad range of employment matters, including wrongful termination, discrimination, and wage and hour litigation. She also advises employers on employment policies and procedures, separations, statutory compliance, and best practices for litigation avoidance and developing positive employee relations.

Ms. Cuttino has defended clients at trial and in all phases of complex employment litigation and class litigation in state and federal courts. She has handled claims arising under the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, and related state employment laws. She also has represented clients before federal and state fair employment agencies, and has conducted employee training on the prevention of unlawful harassment and discrimination in the workplace.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Cuttino was an associate at a large international law firm where she handled a variety of litigation matters, including employment-related claims, complex commercial litigation, and business and financial litigation.

Ms. Cuttino earned her J.D. from the University of Southern California Law School in 2007, where she was on the board of the Southern California Review of Law and Social Justice. She also served as a member of the USC Employer Legal Advice Clinic and as president of the Street Law mentoring program. She received a Master of Communication Management from the University of Southern California, Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism in 2007 and her B.A., magna cum laude, in economics and Spanish from Spelman College in 2004, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa.

Ms. Cuttino is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, California, and Virginia and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Southern, and Northern Districts of California, and the U.S. District Court for the the Eastern District of Virginia.
