Edward R. Dietz, Jr. is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice and a member of the Technology Transactions Practice. Mr. Dietz regularly counsels clients in a wide range of business law matters, with a particular emphasis on both public and private company merger and acquisition transactions. He has participated in complex acquisitions and financing transactions in various industries, both domestic and international, including automotive, consumer products, industrial equipment, and consulting services.

Mr. Dietz also concentrates his practice on outsourcing and technology transactions. He represents clients in a variety of commercial contract and licensing transactions, including the outsourcing of information technology, human resources, and business process functions.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Dietz was an associate in the business practice in the Detroit office of a prominent national law firm, where his practice involved mergers and acquisitions, finance, and general commercial law.

Mr. Dietz earned his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2004. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Dietz worked in various capacities in the group insurance and employee benefits industry. He earned his B.A., magna cum laude, in political science from Gettysburg College in 1997.

Mr. Dietz is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and Michigan.
