Charles I. Cohen is senior counsel in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Cohen’s practice focuses on representing senior management in complex labor and employment law matters in the private sector.

From 1994 to 1996, Mr. Cohen served as a member of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Prior to that presidential appointment, he held executive and staff labor law positions with the NLRB, as well as in private practice. His experience includes representing clients in collective bargaining issues in all facets of labor and employee relations, including litigation.

From 2005 through 2008, Mr. Cohen was named one of the leading U.S. lawyers for employment law by Chambers USA, based on the views of clients, peers, and other industry professionals. Chambers has noted that Mr. Cohen is an "outstanding lawyer with a very sophisticated practice.” Chambers also has noted that he “brings to the table a tremendous insight into NLRB cases” and that he focuses on high-level government negotiations and cutting-edge labor matters.

Mr. Cohen speaks and lectures frequently before trade associations, business groups and bar meetings.

Mr. Cohen is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Pennsylvania and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
