Doreen S. Davis is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Davis practices nationwide, concentrating in NLRB advice and litigation, union organizational activities and negotiations, and employment litigation. Ms. Davis has litigated one of the largest cases ever to emanate from the Philadelphia region at the National Labor Relations Board which involved millions of dollars in potential back-pay and the possibility that a business that relocated to Michigan would be ordered back to Wilmington, Delaware. She has served as defense counsel in EEOC nationwide charges involving sex discrimination and in a nationwide class-action lawsuit brought under the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
From 2003 through 2008, Ms. Davis was named one of the leading U.S. lawyers for labor and employment law by Chambers USA, based on the views of clients, peers, and other industry professionals. Chambers called Ms. Davis a "capable, dedicated, and tough" lawyer who "really knows her stuff and is tenacious on behalf of her clients."
Ms. Davis began her career as a field attorney with the National Labor Relations Board, Fourth Region. She lives in Haverford with her husband and fellow labor lawyer Robert Simmons and their born-negotiator, now teenage, daughter, Samantha.
Ms. Davis is admitted to practice in Pennsylania.
