Chester P. Lee is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Real Estate Practice. Mr. Lee represents lenders, landowners, developers, and borrowers in commercial real estate loans (including bridge, construction, and mezzanine financings) and acquisitions and dispositions of real property. This work includes, among other things, the coordination and implementation of legal due diligence review in connection with multiple site transfers and the development of loan documents for the financing of "fast track" construction projects. He also represents clients in project financing, sale-leaseback, real estate investment trusts, and secured loan workouts. Mr. Lee has worked extensively with landlords and tenants in the negotiation of commercial leases (including those involving facilities being constructed).

Representative Transactions
- represented a national lender in numerous financings (aggregating over $750 million) involving the construction and renovation of projects located in the New York City area;
- represented a joint venture between a shopping center owner/developer and a private equity fund in the purchase and sale of over 400 retail sites located throughout the United States;
- represented a national investor in the bid to acquire more than 10 power generating plants; and
- represented a public company in the preparation of a long-term lease involving an approximately 500,000 square foot facility to be constructed by the landlord.
