Alan J. Neuwirth is a senior partner in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice and is head of the firm's Japan Practice. Mr. Neuwirth maintains offices in New York and Tokyo.

Mr. Neuwirth has represented major Asian-based industrial, trading, and service companies for more than 30 years in their dealings in and with the United States, and he serves as a director of several of their U.S. subsidiaries. His practice includes general corporate, finance and commercial matters; acquisitions, mergers, and joint ventures; intellectual property and technology licensing; research and development projects; antitrust and trade regulation matters; and dispute resolution, in a variety of industries including electronics, chemicals, metals, automotive, pharmaceuticals, and medical equipment.

Mr. Neuwirth lectures frequently and has co-authored several articles on international commerce and trade, published in the Journal of the Japanese Institute of International Business Law (Kokusai Shoji Homu) and elsewhere.

Mr. Neuwirth is admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of International Trade, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Mr. Neuwirth is not admitted to practice in Japan.
