William Andrew Lewis is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Lewis focuses his practice on complex litigation issues for sophisticated clients involved in business across the United States. He has experience in antitrust litigation, products liability litigation, government claims, white collar investigation defense, and insurance recovery litigation.

Mr. Lewis provides legal advice and supervision for lending institutions to ensure compliance with federal and state laws protecting military servicemember borrowers. He has also experience defending national-brand manufacturers against products liability class-actions brought under multiple federal and state laws.

Mr. Lewis also maintains an active pro bono practice, with experience in asylum cases on behalf of battered women, social security appeals, and landlord/tenant disputes.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Lewis was an associate at another large litigation firm in Washington, D.C., where he participated in the production of monthly electronic discovery case updates to key clients and sat on the firm's Diversity Committee.

Mr. Lewis earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School in 2009, where he received scholastic excellence awards in Constitutional Law, Law of Cyberspace, and International Intellectual Property Law. He earned his M.A. in East Asian studies from Indiana University in 2006 and his B.A. in Japanese studies from the University of Kentucky in 2004.
