Lauren B. Licastro is of counsel in Morgan Lewis's Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation Practice. Ms. Licastro assists clients with benefits issues arising in the context of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other corporate restructuring, ranging from pre-transactional assessment of benefits liabilities to post-transactional workforce change and benefits integration concerns. Ms. Licastro counsels clients on matters related to the implementation and operation of qualified and nonqualified retirement plans and health and welfare benefit plans in compliance with ERISA, the Internal Revenue Code, COBRA, HIPAA, and other applicable law. She also negotiates contracts on behalf of employers with plan service providers, such as insurers, recordkeepers, and third-party administrators, and provides advice regarding employment agreements and severance arrangements.

Ms. Licastro obtained her J.D., cum laude, from the Columbus School of Law at The Catholic University of America and her B.A. from Connecticut College.

Ms. Licastro is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the District of Columbia, and New York.
