Gemma Goodhead is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labour and Employment Practice and is also a member of the firm's Global Immigration Services Practice. Gemma advises companies and individuals on their business immigration matters, including under Tiers 2 and 5 of the Points-Based System.

In respect to corporate clients, Gemma has experience in advising on and preparing sponsorship licence applications under Tiers 2 and 5 and advising on the prevention of illegal working requirements. For individuals, she advises on entry clearance, further leave to remain, and settlement applications for lead applicants and their dependants. Gemma also has experience in dealing with Tier 1 (investor) applications for high net-worth clients, as well as advising and preparing applications for visitors and individuals wishing to apply for settlement and British citizenship.

Gemma is an active member of the Economic Migration Subcommittee of the Immigration Law Practitioners Association.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Gemma spent three years at a City law firm in London, where she trained and qualified as a Solicitor, specialising in immigration law.

Gemma earned her Legal Practice Course, with distinction, from the College of Law of England and Wales, London in 2008 and her First Class LLB (Hons) from the University of Nottingham, England in 2007.

Gemma is admitted to practice in England and Wales as a solicitor.
