Darren J. Campbell is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Campbell concentrates his practice in the defense and counseling of employers on all aspects of labor and employment law, with a focus on discrimination claims, misappropriation of trade secret claims, and managing the defense of class actions.
Mr. Campbell has handled the representation of employers in employment-related litigation and administrative proceedings, including claims for wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, misappropriation of trade secrets, and unfair competition. He also has a background in counseling employers on how to comply with various federal and state laws that govern the employment relationship, including personnel policies, wage and hour issues, leaves of absence rights, personnel actions, protection of proprietary information, sexual harassment and other workplace investigations, disability accommodations, and strategic restructuring.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Campbell worked at another large international law firm in Orange County, California, where he focused on representing employers in employment matters.
Mr. Campbell received his J.D. from the University of California, Davis School of Law in 2002, where he worked as an articles and associate editor for the U.C. Davis Law Review. Mr. Campbell received his B.S. in biology and his B.A. in political science from the University of California, Irvine in 1998.
Mr. Campbell is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Courts for the Central, Southern, Northern, and Eastern Districts of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
