Sharon A. Lisitzky is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Lisitzky’s practice focuses on defending employers at the administrative, trial, and appellate levels in the full spectrum of employment and labor litigation, including lawsuits alleging race, national origin, age, disability, pregnancy, and religious discrimination, harassment and retaliation in violation of federal law, state statutes and local ordinances. Ms. Lisitzky represents employers in EEOC and other agency charges, single-plaintiff lawsuits, and class and collective actions. Ms. Lisitzky also has significant experience in overtime compensation actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act, particularly in the retail context.
In addition to her litigation practice, Ms. Lisitzky also counsels and trains companies on issues such as diversity in the workplace and preventing discrimination and harassment; drafts employment policies, separation agreements and releases; and conducts seminars on various employment issues, with particular emphasis on harassment prevention training and investigation of employee complaints.
From 2003 to 2005, Ms. Lisitzky served as a law clerk to Judge Patricia A. Seitz of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Prior to her clerkship, Ms. Lisitzky was associated with Morgan Lewis from 2000-2003.
Ms. Lisitzky is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
