Christopher M. Cabral, Ph.D., is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Intellectual Property and Litigation Practices. Dr. Cabral focuses his practice on patent prosecution and patent counseling in the chemical, pharmaceutical, diagnostics, biotechnology and small molecule arenas. Dr. Cabral has experience in all phases of patent prosecution, including patent applications for the U.S. and abroad, and the Patent Cooperation Treaty. Dr. Cabral's other practice focuses include opinion work and freedom-to-operate evaluation.
Dr. Cabral earned his J.D. from Northwestern University Law School in 2005. He earned his Ph.D. in cell and molecular biology from Baylor College of Medicine in 2000 and his B.S., summa cum laude, in biochemical and biophysical sciences from the University of Houston in 1995.
