Scott Karchmer is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Business Transactions Practice. Mr. Karchmer counsels established and emerging companies in a broad spectrum of industries, including biotech, medical device, green tech, networking and storage, and life sciences.

Mr. Karchmer advises companies at critical junctures in their life cycles, including formation, raising funds from venture capitalists, initial public offerings, mergers & acquisitions, and other typical and unusual issues faced by business organizations.

He counsels publicly listed companies on securities law, governance and general corporate matters. He also works with several leading venture capital firms.

Mr. Karchmer is manager of the firm's Business & Finance Group in the San Francisco office and the pro bono chair of the San Francisco office.

Mr. Karchmer is admitted to practice in California and Massachusetts.
