Amy J. Conway-Hatcher is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Ms. Conway-Hatcher’s practice concentrates on white collar litigation and corporate compliance counseling. She has represented clients before the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other federal and state regulators. Ms. Conway-Hatcher regularly counsels clients on a wide range of international, federal, and state enforcement and compliance-related matters, including matters involving the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), securities, environmental, and health care-related issues. Ms. Conway-Hatcher also counsels clients on the development and implementation of internal compliance and ethics programs. She has handled major representations in a variety of industries, including the life sciences and securities industries.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Conway-Hatcher served as an assistant U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia for more than six years. During her tenure with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, she gained trial experience, conducted numerous grand jury investigations, and received several Department of Justice Special Achievement awards. Following law school, she clerked for Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, who currently sits on the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
Ms. Conway-Hatcher earned her J.D. from The Catholic University's Columbus School of Law in 1993. She earned her B.A., with honors, from the University of Vermont in 1990.
Ms. Conway-Hatcher has appeared as a legal commentator on CNN, Fox News Channel, and MSNBC.
Ms. Conway-Hatcher is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland and before the U.S. Supreme Court.
