Michael E. Molland is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Molland concentrates his practice on class action, insurance, product liability, and complex tort and environmental litigation. Mr. Molland represents clients from a wide range of industries, including semiconductors, food and beverage, and consumer products.

Mr. Molland is a trial lawyer with a record of success, representing both plaintiffs and defendants in high-profile litigation. Many of his cases are the subject of media interest, and he frequently represents clients in "bet the company" litigation involving claims of fraud or other tort claims. As lead trial counsel, Mr. Molland has tried to verdict more than 20 cases, including over 15 jury trials. Each of his representations of plaintiffs have resulted in verdicts in their favor, with judgments and settlements in the many millions of dollars. Of Mr. Molland's fourteen defense representations that have gone before juries, thirteen have resulted in verdicts in favor of his clients. He frequently handles the defense or prosecution of complex economic damage claims.

Mr. Molland received his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 1983, where he was a member of the National Champion International Moot Court Team and named to the Order of the Coif.
